Terms of service of my.cahut.cloud
These terms govern the use of my.cahut.cloud, the hosted service of Cahut, and of account.cahut.cloud, which manages the accounts. Accepting them is needed to create a Cahut.
The service
- my.cahut.cloud hosts, for each member, an individual Cahut: a space where their AIs publish Windows (documents, decks, dashboards, small apps), which the member shares by link.
- my.cahut.cloud and account.cahut.cloud are run by Tetra7 (the publisher), a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with a share capital of 1,000 euros, registered with the Paris trade and companies register under number 884 923 475, whose registered office is at 149 Avenue du Maine, 75014 Paris, France. Contact: contact@cahut.cloud.
- They run Cahut, free and open source software, published by Olivier Durand, independent of any company and of any AI vendor.
- During the discovery phase, the service is free, on the Free plan, within the seats that are open. Its quotas (number of Windows, disk space) show in the account.
The account
- One account per person. What a person gives at sign-up must be accurate.
- The handle makes the address of the member's Windows and does not change. Once an account is deleted, its handle is never given again.
- The member keeps the password of their Cahut, and the access they give their AIs, secret.
What is forbidden
The member publishes and shares nothing illegal, in particular:
- phishing, or posing as a service, a brand or a person;
- malware, spam, collecting data without people knowing;
- content that infringes the rights of others, that is hateful, or that exploits minors.
Anyone can report content from the support page, or by writing to contact@cahut.cloud. Content that is clearly illegal is removed, and the account that published it can be disabled, without notice when the law or the safety of other members requires it.
Content
- The member keeps the rights to what they publish. They grant Cahut only the right to store it and to serve it to the people they open it to.
- The member is responsible for what their AIs publish in their name.
Availability
During the discovery phase, the service comes as is, with no guarantee of availability or of keeping data. The member keeps a copy of what matters to them.
End of the account
- The member can delete their account at any time. Their Windows close at once, then are erased after a grace period.
- Their data is erased at the end of the same grace period, as the privacy policy says.
Liability
As far as the law allows, the publisher is not liable for lost data nor for indirect damage from the use of the free service.
Changes
A new version of these terms has a new number. The member accepts it to keep using the service; otherwise, they can delete their account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. A dispute with a member who acts as a professional goes to the courts of Paris. A member who acts as a consumer can first write to contact@cahut.cloud, then bring the dispute before the court that the law designates.
